Birmingham University: using new technologies to keep students and staff safe and well

Very good to see our new Covid mapping functionality in operation at the University of Birmingham as they approach start of term and the arrival of larger numbers once again. The University map now has various embedded layers of information in support of social distancing: dynamic one-way system markers and route suggestions that can be altered as Estates Management determine; information on closed and open food outlets, on 'no waiting' areas and areas where 'queue management' systems are in place.

If you're interested in using similar mapping tools to help protect your campus or site, whether or not you have a digital map already in place, please do be in touch to discuss. See also our flyer for more information on how our digital maps respond to Covid-19.
